April news - End of term 1

Well done to the performance groups and itinerant students who have all made great starts to the year!

The ukulele group gave their debut performance last Sunday at the Accordion Society Variety Concert. Well done to them!

Coming up in May, various groups will be performing at Aranui Library such as the Irish band, jazz bands, rock bands, uke band and marimba band. This is part of NZ Music Month.

There are a few special end-of-term forms to fill in for some of the groups. These are all on the wiki.

Jazz and rock should make sure their rehearsal forms are filled in urgently if they haven't done so already. RockQuest applications close May 8th!
Theory Club members have the chance to sign up for our iCloud Musitian software trial.
You can also indicate if you wish to sit an exam next term.
Choir - have you done your online test? Watch the notices for special choir audition practices during the week.

Students will be notified this week about Sound tech training in the holidays.

Marimba, Uke and recorder players please put September 18 in your diaries for the "Strum, Strike and Blow" festival at the CBS Arena.
